The Village
"Their Days Of Peace Are Over"
"The Village" is about a small population of people, isolated in a countryside village believe that their alliance with the mysterious creatures that inhabit the forest around them is coming to an end. After a number of incidents the blind main character Ivy (Bryce Dallas Howard) sets out to walk through the forest to reach the town to gather medicine for her injured husband Lucius (Joaquin Phoenix.) Signs
"I think God did it."
Unbreakable
"I'm just going to shoot you once!"
"Unbreakable" stars Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson, and Robin Wright Penn. Unbreakable tells the story of Philadelphia security guard, David Dunn, who slowly discovers that he is actually a real life super hero. The film is a study on the dimensions of comic books; it explores the analogies between the real world and the mythology of superheroes.
Shyamalan originally conceived the idea for Unbreakable to parallel a comic book's traditional three-part story structure. After he decided to settle on the origin story aspect of his outline, Shyamalan began to write the screenplay as a spec script with Bruce Willis already set to star in the film and Samuel L. Jackson in mind to portray Elijah Price
The Sixth Sense
"I see dead people"
"The Sixth Sense" tells the story of Cole Sear (Haley Joel Osment), a troubled, isolated boy who is able to see and talk to the dead, and an equally troubled child psychologist (Bruce Willis) who tries to help him. The film established Shyamalan as a writer and director, and introduced the cinema public to his signatures, most notably his affinity for twist endings. The film was nominated for six Academy Awards, including Best Picture.

Movies, Movies AND MORE Movies!

M. Night Shyamalan as a director is described as "one of the few blockbuster directors who lean in the direction of horror/suspense."
The films he has directed are described as "...often featuring supernatural and otherworldly phenomena, they generally are not considered horror movies -- in part because they're relatively family-friendly affairs, focusing on plot and interpersonal relationships rather than explicit content. This clean, "classy" style of fright filmmaking has drawn comparisons to legendary director Alfred Hitchcock -- a parallel aided by Shyamalan's propensity for twisty story lines and cameo appearances in his own movies."
Below is a list of movies M. Night Shyamalan has directed.
The Last Airbender (2010) (Still in production)
